In particular we focus on getting the loan structure right the first time, choosing which lenders to use in the right order (yes this is important) and finally getting our clients the best deal possible.
Current Mortgage Rates
Welcome to our "current mortgage rates" page. At Mortgage Experts, we pride ourselves on being a source of relevant and up-to-date information for current and potential clients. Our aim is to provide you with expert guidance and the data you need to make an informed decision.
Outlined below in our table are some of the most popular loan types available in the Australian market today. Next to each loan type we have provided an indicative current mortgage rate that we would consider competitive. Rather than specific loan and lender information our current mortgage rates are an indicative benchmark for what a competitive interest rate is currently for a particular loan type.
Our current mortgage rates do not take into account lender fees so are not meant to be true comparison rates. What they can be used for is a starting point if you are in the market for a new loan, if you are thinking of switching loans or you just want to make sure you are not paying too much on your current mortgage! Rates can vary from week to week or even daily especially fixed rates. We provide a date showing when we last updated this page (below the "Current Mortgage Rates Table"). We take no responsibility for the accuracy of this information although we do endeavor to keep it as up to date as possible.
Things we exclude from our rates table:
- Honeymoon / introductory rates.
- 1 & 2 year rates that revert to uncompetitive rates.
- Low rate deals with excessive fees or restrictive conditions.
-
We also try to compare apples with apples so if the RBA has just moved the cash rate we will wait for the majority of lenders to change their variable rates before updating the table below.
