A mortgage broker is a middleman who helps organise a home loan between the lender and the borrower.
They will firstly understand your property requirements and goals. They will work out what you can comfortably afford to borrow and finds a suitable lender who will suit your financial situation. They will explain the various products and features available and how to structure the loan. They will also apply for the loan on your behalf and manage the process for you through to settlement.
There is usually no upfront cost to you the client as the lenders pay the mortgage broker a commission and they are legally required to work in your best interest, so they will always present the best deal for your circumstances.
